I really don't see the point in getting married, why must there be the marriage license? Can't people just live together and be fully committed to one another forever without the license? Common law (in some states) allows couples who live together to file their taxes as "married", just as long there is no reason the two shouldn't be married, like if one person is already married.
Sounds like I'm going to be one of those women who never gets married to her boyfriend and has children out of wedlock doesn't it? Nope, I really want a wedding.
